Edward Hauer

Edward Hauer, 88, of Alma, Kansas passed away Friday, February 18, 2011 at Wamego City Hospital, Wamego, Kansas. Edward was born March 2, 1922 in Alma, Kansas, the son of Charles and Marie Hauer. He graduated from Alma High School. After school Edward worked as a farmer and rancher in the Alma and McFarland areas his entire life. Edward was married to Wilma (Gnadt) Hauer who preceded him in death in 2003. He is survived by his son Eldon Hauer and wife Diane, of Alma; his 2 grandsons, Eric and Paul Hauer of Alma and a sister, Dorothy of Green Valley, Arizona. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Wilma and 1 brother. A private service for Mr. Hauer has taken place.
