Charles E. Struble, 90, of St. Mary’s, formerly of Belvue, passed away early Tuesday morning April 17, 2007 at St. Mary’s Manor.
Charles was born July 29, 1916 the son of Elmo and Mary (Gibbons) Struble in Belvue, Kansas. After his schooling he served with the United States Army. He returned to Kansas after his discharge and continued to farm around Belvue his entire life until entering St. Mary’s Manor six years ago.
He is survived by: his sisters, Genevieve Lassche and Seal Beach; and his nieces and nephews.
Charles was preceded in death by his brothers, Harold, Robert and Leonard, and two sisters, Gertrude Gomes and Helen Hosford.
Graveside Funeral Services with military honors will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday April 21, at Belvue Cemetery. A visitation will be at Stewart Funeral Home one hour before the services.
