Ru Hsin Mo

Ru Hsin Mo, 83, of Wamego, KS, died Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at Wamego City Hospital. He was born on July 1, 1923, in Xinhui, Guangdong Province, China, the son of Mo Wen Giong and Lau Lin Fong. He was a resident of Wamego for about 30 years. Ru Hsin received his Ph.D. in Engineering from Kansas State University and worked as an Engineer at Balderson, Inc. of Wamego for 20 years. He was also active as a volunteer for Community Health Ministry in Wamego for several years. He married Jane Y. Hung, they later separated. She resides in Toronto, Canada. Survivors include his daughter, Olivia Mo, of Evanston, Illinois; and one brother Gim Mok Mo, of Saskatchewan, Canada. He was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters. Cremation has taken place, and memorial services for Mr. Mo will be held at a later date.
