Jon David Brummett

WAMEGO- Jon Brummett, 43, a lifetime resident of Wamego, Ks., and most recently lived in Chandler, OK, died Wednesday, June 6, 2007 in Branson, Missouri. Born on December 22, 1963, he was the son of Jerry and Joyce (Clem) Brummett. He attended and later graduated from Wamego High School. In 1984 he married Sonja Seitz and out of that union three children were born, Kimberly, K.C., and Kristi. The couple later separated. Jon was a past owner and operator of Brummett Trash Service of the Wamego and surrounding areas. He was also an avid fan and supporter of local youth sports. He was a incredible father, brother and friend to all who knew him and he will be greatly missed. Survivors include: His parents, Jerry and Joyce Brummett of Wamego; his children, Kimberly, Kristi, and K.C. Brummett of Branson West, MO; his brothers, Brian of Hanover, Kansas, Patrick of Wamego, Ks, and Kelly of Olathe, KS; his sisters, Lisa Burgess of Buena Vista, CO, and Amy Brummett of Wamego. Jon was preceded in death by a brother Larry in 2000. A memorial service will be Thursday June 14th at 3:00 p.m., at Stewart Funeral Home in Wamego.
