Kenneth E. Taylor, 95, lifetime resident of Louisville, passed away Sunday, July 8, at Wamego City Hospital.
Kenneth was born on February 24, 1912 in Pottawatomie County, the son of Clifford and Leita (Richey) Taylor. He attended school in Louisville and later graduated from Louisville High School.
Mr. Taylor was Agency Manager of Farm Bureau Insurance Services in Pottawatomie County, as well as the Louisville City Clerk, Louisville Township Trustee and a member of the Louisville School Board. On May 19, 1934, he was united in marriage to Bernadene Forrester in Wamego, Kansas. She preceded him in death on December 6, 1995.
Survivors include: his daughter, Nonavee Howard and her husband Marlin of Lenexa, KS; his grandchildren, Mark and Cynthia Howard of Bellevue, NB, and Marla and Jim McCain of Shawnee, KS: his great-grandchildren, Michael and Alex Howard of Bellevue, NB, and Taylor McCain of Shawnee, KS; his two step-grandchildren, Jennifer and Michael Odam of Bellevue, NB; his sister, Reva Stratton and husband Owen of Louisville, KS; his sister-in-law Georgia Ellen Cottle of Wamego, Ks; and his numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday July 14, at Stewart Funeral Home of Wamego. There will be no visitation. Memorials are suggested to The Dutch Mill or Wamego Friends of the Park, and may be left in care of Stewart Funeral Home, P.O. Box 48, 66547.
