Judith “Judy” Ann Clark, 65, of Wamego, Kansas passed away early Monday, October 24, 2011 at the Wamego City Hospital.
Judy was born July 12, 1946 in Anthony, Kansas the daughter of Milton and Valeria M. (Helms) Davis. She lived in many different locations while growing up, and attended high school in Palmdale, CA. She was united in marriage to James “Jim” Everett Clark on December 22, 1963 in Palmdale. She and Jim moved from Palmdale to St. George, KS in 1970 and have been residents of Wamego, KS since 1972.
Judy was a homemaker and took a lot of pride in her home and her family. She enjoyed spending time golfing with Jim, working in her flower gardens, and especially enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her grandkids.
Her survivors include her husband James “Jim” Clark, of their home in Wamego, KS; one son, James A. Clark and his wife Terry, of Wamego, KS; two daughters, Penny Morse and her husband Bob, of Wamego, KS, Jody Hooper and her husband Mike, of Belvue, KS; seven grandchildren, Maggie, Jamie, Bobby, Tara, Curtis, Sammy, Cameron, and one great-granddaughter, Savannah. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Daryl, and John.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 27, 2011, at the Stewart Funeral Home of Wamego with Rev. Rick Wright officiating. Mrs. Clark will lie in-state beginning at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Stewart Funeral Home with family receiving friends during a visitation from 7:00 until 8:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association, and may be left in care of Stewart Funeral Home, Wamego, P.O.
