Anna Margarite Hamilton

Anna Margarite Hamilton, 90, passed away Tuesday, July 17th, 2007 at Valley Vista Good Samaritan Center in Wamego. Born on October 10, 1916 in Haddam, Kansas, she was the daughter of Emil and Cora (Faust) Keller. On July 20, 1934, she married Orville J. Hamilton in Haddam Kansas. Orville later preceded her in death in 1998. Anna was a member of the Mahaska Presbyterian Church in Mahaska, Kansas as well as a member of the Hopewell Women’s Club. Survivors include: her son, Glenn L. Hamilton of Wamego, KS; her daughter in law, Viola Hamilton of Lawrence, KS; her two grandchildren, Debra R. Hamilton of Seattle, WA, and Greg D. Hamilton of Georgetown IN; and her four great grandchildren, Andrew, Mark, Mathew and Jessie Hamilton. In addition to her husband, Anna was also preceded in death by a son, Dewayne in 1991, her four sisters and one brother. Private Graveside Inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorials are suggested to Mahaska Presbyterian Church or Heart of America Hospice, and may be left in care of Stewart Funeral Home, P.O. Box 48, 66547.
