Glenna Kay (Brazee) Reum, 74, of Wamego, Kansas passed away Friday, March 16, 2012 at Mercy Regional Health Center in Manhattan, Kansas. Glenna was born on April 24, 1937 in Grand Ledge, Michigan. She was the daughter of Howard Glen and Edith Luella (Schreiner) Brazee. She attended school and grew up in Michigan. Glenna graduated high school in 1981 in Charlotte, Michigan. Glenna moved to Wamego in 1987 to be close to her daughter. She resided off and on between Wamego and Michigan for many years. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Wamego. Glenna enjoyed playing bingo and cards. She volunteered a lot with the deaf community and loved to travel and go dancing when she was younger. Glenna most importantly loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. Glenna is survived by three daughters: Kay Darlene Holevinski, of Ohio, Susan Luella Todd and husband Marvin, of Michigan and Lori Ann Stanhope and husband Steve Jr. of Wamego, KS; a sister: Janet Dube of Michigan; one brother: Robert Brazee of Michigan; 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son Ronald William Carr. Funeral services for Glenna will be held on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Dr. Tony Mattia officiating. A visitation will be held prior to the service starting at 1:00 p.m. all at Stewart Funeral Home, Wamego. Burial will follow at Wamego City Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Glenna Kay Reum Memorial Fund and may be left in care of the Stewart Funeral Home of Wamego, P.O. Box 48, 66547.
