Bella Vista, Arkansas- Steven Curtis Kelly, 54, formerly of the Wamego area passed away Monday September 24, at his home in Bella Vista Arkansas. Born on February 2, 1953, in San Fernando, California, he was the son of Henry Ivan and Gladiola (Hartley) Kelly. He graduated from Palmdale High School in 1971. On June 9, 1979, he married Donna Jean Artherton in Sabetha, Kansas. She survives of the home. Steven enjoyed communicating on HAM Radio’s, playing the guitar and riding motorcycles. He is survived by: his wife Donna Kelly of the home; his daughter, Sara Jane Kelly and grandson Ethan of Waldron, AR; his son, David Ivan Kelly and his wife Karen of Olive Branch, MS; his brothers, Daniel Kelly and his wife Alvina of Sabetha, KS, Donald Kelly and his wife Barbara of Aqua Dulce, CA, and Ronald Kelly and his wife Susan of Mexico, MO; his sister, Cheryl Holloway and her husband John of Bonner Springs, KS; his seven nieces and seven nephews. Steven was preceded in death by his father Henry, his stepmother Alice Kelly, his mother Gladiola Bradbury and a sister Judy White. A visitation will be held Saturday September 29 from 2-4:00 p.m. at Stewart Funeral Home of Wamego. Cremation will then take place, followed by a memorial service on Monday October 1 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Inurnment with Military Honors will follow at Wells Creek Church Cemetery. A memorial has been established in Steven’s name for Washington Regional Hospice of Fayetteville Arkansas and may be left in care of Stewart Funeral Home, P.O. Box 48, Wamego, 66547.
