Thomas Robert Lintz

Thomas Robert Lintz, 54, of Hiawatha, Kansas and formerly of Wamego, Kansas, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2012. Tom was born on June 4, 1957 in Manhattan, Kansas the son of Clarence “Junior” Robert Lintz, Jr. and Barbara Lee (Trivett) Lintz. His family operated Trivett’s Grocery Store in Wamego for many years until moving to Hiawatha in 1965, where they owned and operated Big B grocery store. Tom worked at the grocery store until it was sold in 1988. Most recently, he worked at Wal-Mart in Hiawatha for 10 years. He is survived by his wife, Michelle (Nissen) Lintz, of the home; two sisters, Cindi Lintz of Phoenix, AZ, and Diann Honeyman of Laramie, WY. He was preceded by both of his parents. Private graveside services will be held at St. Bernard’s Catholic Cemetery in Wamego.
