Glenn Curt Shaffner

Glenn Curt Shaffner, 57, of rural Belvue, Kansas and formerly of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at the Wamego City Hospital, in Wamego, Kansas Glenn was born on December 22, 1954 in Glendale, Maryland, the son of Lawrence W. and Edythe R. Shaffner. He attended schools in Glendale graduating from DuVal High School. He was a freelance worker, designer and builder of things. He is survived by his daughter: Bridgette Stewart, of Ocean View, MD; his sister: Dale Sorrell and her husband Duane, of Huntingtown, MD; a nephew: Patrick Pearson, and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, two aunts: Dorothy Sauer and Jeannette Bolling and his uncle: Bert Shaffner. Cremation has taken affect and private family services were held. Arrangements were entrusted to the Stewart Funeral Home of Wamego.
