Clarence "David" Hall

WAMEGO-Clarence “David” Hall, 71, of Wamego, Kansas, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2013, at his home surrounded by his family, after being diagnosed with cancer in January. David was born on April 30, 1941 in Amazonia, Missouri, the son of C.B. and Ila (Mann) Hall. He attended school in Savannah, Missouri and resided there before moving to Wamego, Kansas in 1974. On his birthday, in 1960, David was united in marriage to Donna Rae Peek in St. Joseph, Missouri. She survives of the home. After moving to Wamego, David began working for Farmers COOP in Manhattan and Westmoreland, Kansas. Then later, he went to work for C.R.’s Tire and Muffler up until his retirement in 2000. David loved being outdoors hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed playing cards. He was a hardworking, fun loving guy with a great sense of humor. David is also survived by three daughters: Lisa Marks; husband Dan of Kansas City, MO, Lori Hatfield; husband Tim of Wamego, KS and Jodie Dodge; husband Christian of Wamego, KS; two sons: Scott Hall (Jacque Ebert) of Kansas City, MO and Brian Hall; wife Megan of Wamego, KS; one brother: Willie Paul Hall; wife Carolyn “Jo” of St. George, KS; 12 grandchildren: Nicole (Lars), Kimberly, Jesse, Rachel, Krystal, Christina, Nathan, Caleb, Jacie, Taryn, Kasen and Kellen; two great-grandchildren: Audree and Kinsey and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at the Stewart Funeral Home of Wamego. Burial will follow at Wamego City Cemetery. David will lay in-state beginning at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday with a visitation from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Stewart Funeral Home, Wamego. The David Hall Memorial Fund, to be designated later, may be left in care of the Stewart Funeral Home, PO Box 48, Wamego, KS 66547.
