Addrenne Marcella Humbert-Roth, 87, of Donna, Texas passed away Sunday, June 16, 2013 in Harlingen, Texas.
Addrenne was born on May 25, 1926 in St. Marys, Kansas, the daughter of Claude and Mary Bledsoe. She attended schools in Wamego, Kansas and graduated from Wamego High School. After high school she married Ben Humbert. They lived in Wamego and raised their children in Wamego before moving to Overland Park, Kansas in the 1960’s. Ben and Addrenne later divorced. In the late 1970’s Addrenne moved to Port Mansfield, Texas where she owned and operated the Sportsman Restaurant. She later moved to McAllen, Texas and managed an apartment complex, before marrying William “Bill” Roth. After their wedding Addrenne and Bill moved to Donna, Texas where they retired and lived the remainder of their lives until Addrenne’s passing. Bill survives of their home.
Addrenne was very active throughout her life. She was an amazing cook and loved going dancing. She also enjoyed traveling every summer with her husband Bill.
Addrenne is also survived by two sons: Curt Humbert and Rick Humbert and wife Sherri all of Oregon; one daughter-in-law: Linda Humbert of Overland Park, KS; one twin sister: Ada Harrell; two step-daughters; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one infant daughter: Tina Marie Humbert and one son: Gerald Ray Humbert.
Addrenne was cremated. A graveside inurnment will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 29, 2013 at the Wamego City Cemetery. The Stewart Funeral Home of Wamego, is in charge of services. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.stewartfuneralhomes.com
