John Lee Eichman, 61, of Wamego, Kansas, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2013 in Wamego, Kansas.
John was born August 3, 1952 in Topeka, Kansas the son of Wilfred Henry “Ike” and Ruth (Julien) Eichman. He attended schools in Wamego, graduating from Wamego High School in 1970, before attending Emporia State University. John was President of Midwest Concrete Materials Inc., a construction material supply company. John married Janice “Jaque” Louise Karnowski on November 29, 1974 at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church of Wamego. She survives of the home.
John is also survived by his children; Matthew John Eichman and wife Heather of Lawrence, KS, Cara Lynn Mueller and husband Lee of Hiawatha, KS and Nikolaus Julien Eichman and wife Patricia of Arlington, VA; two brothers: Rob Eichman and wife Jan of Wamego, KS and Jim Eichman and wife Nancy of Ridgefield, CT; one sister: Cindy Eichman-Call and husband John of Wentzville, MO and 5 grandchildren: Brend, Liliana, Megan, Paige and Chloé. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services are entrusted to the Stewart Funeral Home of Wamego and will be private family services. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Eichman Family Scholarship Fund at Wamego Community Foundation and may be left in care of the Stewart Funeral Home, Wamego, KS, PO Box 48, 66547.
