William "Dan" Daniel Poling

William “Dan” Daniel Poling, 58, of Wamego, Kansas passed away Friday, March 28, 2014 at the Wamego Health Center.   Dan was born on July 30, 1955 in Tampa, Florida. He was the son of Don and Carol Weaver. Dan loved playing guitar and listening to music and enjoyed cooking.   He is survived by the mother of his children, Marilyn Sauerhagen of Wamego, KS; his two children: David and Lily Poling of Wamego, KS; his father: Don Weaver of Las Vegas, NV; two brothers: Larry Poling of California and Mark Weaver (Becky) of Wayne, PA and one sister: Donna Garner (Brad) of Phoenix, AZ. He was preceded in death by his mother and two brothers: David and Bill.  Cremation has taken place. A private celebration of Dan’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dan Poling Memorial Fund and may be left in care of the Stewart Funeral Home, PO Box 48, Wamego, KS 66547.
