Junior Breymeyer, 84, Wamego, passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2014 at Stormont-Vail Healthcare in Topeka, Kansas.
Junior was born Jun 1, 1930 in Paxico, Kansas, the son of Reinhardt and Alice (Buell) Breymeyer. Junior was united in marriage to Lois “Jean” Shultz on March 3, 1957 at Wells Creek United Church of Christ. He was a lifetime farmer and worked for MCM as a truck driver for 25 years. He was outgoing, a man of the earth and loved anything to do with tractors, truck and farm equipment. Junior was known as a man whose word was as good as gold.
He was survived by his son, Randy Breymeyer and wife Theresa, Wamego, a daughter, Judy Tosh and husband Paul, Belton, MO, four grandchildren, Steven Breymeyer, Joseph Breymeyer, Branson Tosh and Dakota Tosh, and two sisters, Lora Jean and Dixie.
A celebration of life will be held at 8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 14, 2014, at Stewart Funeral Home of Wamego. Mr. Breymeyer will lie in-state beginning at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, with visitation to follow beginning at 6:00 until the time of service.
