Ruby G Schleif

Manhattan- Ruby G. Schleif, 84, died October 29, 2008 at Meadowlark Hills in Manhattan. She was born September 4, 1924 in St. George, Kansas the daughter of Frederick and Ellen (Wooten) Schleif. Ruby worked as a legal secretary in Kansas City for several years. She is survived by her three sisters, Wanetta Smith of Manhattan, KS, Jewell Pedersen of Manhattan, KS, and Crystal Lutes of Bakersfield, CA. Graveside Services will be Saturday November 1st at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Zeandale. There will be no visitation. A memorial has been established in Ruby’s name for the charity of the donor’s choice and may be left in care of the funeral home P.O. Box 48, Wamego, 66547.
