Eunice Mae (Carr) Dugan, 81, Wamego, passed away at Mercy Regional Hospital on Friday, April 10, 2015.
Eunice was born on February 21, 1934 in Westmoreland to Everett and Luella (Campbell) Carr. She was united in marriage with Gene Dugan in Westmoreland in 1951. Eunice would graduate from Wamego High School in 1952.
She had many hobbies including quilting, embroidery, sewing, and reading. She also loved to garden and take pictures. Eunice was known to “collect people” in her family and took care of everyone she met. She also enjoyed loving and spending time with her grandchildren.
Eunice is survived by four sons: Carey Dugan (Gwen), Wamego, Wayne Dugan (Bonnie), Perry, KS, Leslie Dugan (Carole Lea), Walton, KS, and Edward Dugan (Cynthia), St. George; two daughters: Debra Honaker (Jim), Newton, KS, and Joanne Hercules, Wamego; two brothers: Kenny Carr (Karen) Westmoreland, and Dean Carr (Cathy), Ozawkie, KS; fourteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at the Stewart Funeral Home of Wamego. The family will be accepting friends starting at 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Louisville City Cemetery. In-lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorials to the Wamego Family Worship Center and may be left in care of the Stewart Funeral Home, PO Box 48, Wamego, KS 66547.
