Larry Melvin Glover, 46, Alma, passed away at his home Sunday, April 19, 2015.
Larry was born on April 11, 1969, in Wamego, to Robert and Margaret (Ellison) Glover. He graduated from Wamego High School in 1988 and worked on the family farm. He also worked for Blume Farms. Besides maintaining the family farm, he loved cutting wood, watching wrestling, welding, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by two brothers: John Glover, Tecumseh, KS, and Warren Glover, Alma; a sister: Ruth Buchanan (Brad), Topeka; his significant other: Mary Murphy, of the home; two aunts: Helen Palmateer and Mary Jane Ellison, both of Oklahoma; an uncle: Andy Vandyke, South Dakota; and three nephews and a niece.
He was preceded by his parents.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at the Stewart Funeral Home of Wamego. The family will be accepting friends at 9:30 a.m. until the time of service, at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Wabaunsee Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorials to go to the Wamego High School Wrestling Club and may be left in care of the Stewart Funeral Home, PO Box 48, Wamego, KS 66547.
