Wamego- William “Bill” Nash, 71, of Wamego, Kansas, passed away at his home late Monday, January 5.
Born on January 17, 1937 in Cockyville, Maryland, he was the son of John and Hazel (Sheeler) Nash. He proudly served his country with the United States Army during both Vietnam and Korea and retired after several years of dedicated service. On March 3, 1976, he married Hong in Manhattan, Kansas. Bill worked for K-State University as an equipment operator and retired in 1993.
His survivors include: his wife, Hong Nash of the home; his son, John Nash of Channelview, TX; his daughters Cheryl Ann Nash of Zwolle, LA, and Terry Wingate of Houston, TX;
Cremation has been effected. Memorial Services will be Saturday January 10th at 11:00 a.m. at Stewart Funeral Home in Wamego. Inurnment will be in Louisville Cemetery with full military honors.
