Pamela Sue Rowe, 58, Wamego, KS passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at her home. On May 30, 1957, Pamela was born to Raymund and Irma (Woody) Niedfeldt in Wamego, KS. She would attend school in Paxico, but graduated from Wamego High School in 1975. After high school, she attended what was then known as the Kaw Area Vocational Technical School in Topeka, KS. Pam would go on to work at Caterpillar in Wamego as a Revenue Analyst. She was united in marriage with Ed Rowe on December 8, 1978 at the Wells Creek Church. Ed survives of the home. Pam was an active member at the Wells Creek Church. She participated in the women’s church group, and was also active in ovarian cancer support groups. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and when they called her “Gigi”, and attending family events. Pam also loved to shop, (especially for shoes, and at Kohls), spend time on the beach, enjoyed working with her co-workers even after they retired, watching KU basketball, and to drink her coffee. She is also survived by two sons: Shaun (Brianna) Rowe, Wamego, KS, and Derek (Traci) Rowe, Manhattan, KS; a daughter: Ashley Rowe, Wamego, KS; two brothers: Ervin (Kathy) Niedfeldt, Belvue, KS, and Dale (Nancy) Niedfeldt, Wamego, KS; four sisters: Diane (Ned) Gaylord, Bosque Farms, NM, Alice Niedfeldt, Wamego, KS, Jean (John) Rook, Liberty, MO, and Lisa (Rex) Tessendorf, Topeka, KS; six grandchildren: Landon Rowe, Lucas Rowe, Jonah Rowe, Logan Rowe, Sariah Johnson, and Samantha Johnson; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services for Pam will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Immanuel Faith Community Church Wells Creek of Belvue. Burial will follow in Wells Creek Cemetery. She will lie in-state beginning at 1:00 p.m. Friday, at the Stewart Funeral Home of Wamego, where the family will greet friends during visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Memorials are suggested to go to the American Cancer Society or the Immanuel Faith Community Church Wells Creek, and may be left in care of the Stewart Funeral Home of Wamego, PO Box 48, 66547.
