Eve Nadine Thomas

Eve Nadine Thomas, 79, died Wednesday morning, March 11, 2009, at Westmoreland Community Care Home. She was born August 21, 1929 in Neosho Falls, Kansas the daughter of Walter L. and Grace (Crable) Wolford. She graduated from Leroy High School in Leroy, Kansas in 1947. Nadine is survived by: her mother, Grace Crable of Westmoreland, KS; her children, Mary K. Hollingshead of St. George, KS, Shirley R. Norland of OR, Curtis A. Norland of St. George, KS, and Rose M. Sloan and husband Larry of Manhattan, KS; her brothers, Robert Wolford and wife Marilee of Lyndon, KS and June Wolford and wife Rose of Topeka, KS; her sisters, Nellie Wynn of Topeka, KS, Dorothy Drain and husband Henry of Ghosen, AR and sister Doris Sumpter of Topeka, KS; her five grandchildren; her five great grandchildren; and her cousins Twila and Bruce Tappan of Peabody, KS. She was preceded in death by her father Walter, her sister Alice Wolford and her infant son Terry Lee Mose in 1958. Cremation has been effected and a memorial service will be held Friday March 13th at 2:00 p.m. at Westmoreland Community Care Home. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
