Terry Lee Frazier, 47, of Towanda, formerly of St. George lost his 7 year long battle with cancer April 12, 2009.
He was born on June 22, 1961 in San Jose, California the son of William and Marilyn (Peters) Frazier. He attended and graduated from Lindsborg High School in Lindsborg, Kansas and still has many friends there and in McPherson. Terry worked in construction and was a carpenter who could build anything. He loved his Harley and was a member of the ABATE. He was planning on marrying Deborah Hawkins of Towanda, when he was well enough again, but God called him home on Easter Sunday April 12, 2009.
Terry is survived by his mother, Marilyn Dick of Batesville, Ark; his step-mom Shirley Frazier of St. George, KS; his daughter, Miranda Rink of Marysville, KS; his fiancé Deborah Hawkins and her son Keith Hawkins of Towanda, KS; his grandma Mary Jane Frazier of St. George, KS; his brother Tim Frazier and his wife Pam of Wamego, KS; his sister Mikey Frazier-Brown and her husband Sam of Wamego, KS; his step brother and sisters, Lani Keys, Tina Mudge, Terry McDonald and John Frost. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends who were considered his family. Terry was preceded in death by his dad William and grandpa Marshal Oliver Frazier.
There will be a memorial gathering starting at 9:30 Friday April 17th at Stewart Funeral Home in Wamego. Memorial Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. and inurnment will be in St. George Cemetery. A memorial has been established in Terry’s name for the Terry Frazier Memorial Fund and contributions may be sent to the funeral home P.O. Box 48, Wamego, 66547.
