View Memorial Slideshow Quentin William Taylor, 34, formerly of Westmoreland, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2016 at Mercy Health Center in Des Moines, Iowa. Quentin was born on February 23, 1981 to Neal and Nancy (Clyde) Taylor in Evanston, Wyoming. He graduated from Rock Creek High School in 1999. Quentin loved working on vehicles and worked for multiple auto service shops in the area. He was active in FFA and Boy Scouts and was an avid outdoorsman. Quentin loved working on the family farm near Westmoreland and helping people out in any way he could. He is survived by his father and step-mother: Vicki Taylor, Westmoreland, KS; three sons: Kacen, Bradyn, and Caden; two daughters: Mackenzie and Bayley; two sisters: Krista Morris, Wamego, KS, and Lindsey Taylor, Holton, KS; three step-brothers: Matthew Schlegel and Michael Schlegel, both of Manhattan, KS, and Mason Schlegel, Westmoreland, KS; a step-sister: Misty Schlegel, Manhattan, KS; a grandmother: Anna Marie Taylor Tanner, Westmoreland, KS; a close friend: Michelle Houser, Ankeney, IA; two nieces: Kassandra and Korinne Morris; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother, a brother, Nathan Cowger, grandfather, Lewis Taylor, and grandparents, Harold and Mary McCollun. A Celebration of Life for Quentin will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Stewart Funeral Home of Wamego. Private graveside services will be held at a later date at the Westmoreland City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorials to the Quentin Taylor Memorial Fund, and may be left in care of the Stewart Funeral Home of Wamego, PO Box 48, 66547.
