Connie Sue Niedfeldt, 58, Belvue, KS passed away Monday, February 22, 2016 at the Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan, KS.
On May 3, 1957, Connie was born to Robert and LaVone (Bluthardt) Nihart in Westmoreland, Kansas. She graduated from Wamego High School in 1975 and went to work for SBL Insurance. She also did title insurance and secretarial work for Pugh & Pugh Attorneys at Law. She was united in marriage with Randy Niedfeldt on March 11, 1977 at the Wells Creek Church. He survives her of the home.
Connie enjoyed doing crafts, often sending some home with visitors and family. She crocheted and needlepointed. She was a dedicated wife and mother, and will be missed very much.
Connie is also survived by her mother, two sons: Tyrel (Victoria) and Trevor (Stacey) Niedfeldt, both of Wamego, KS; a sister: Shirley Wampler (Frank), Assaria, KS; two brothers: Doug Nihart (Cindy), Manhattan, KS, and Tom Nihart (Ruth), Louisville, KS; and four grandchildren: Cooper Niedfeldt, Zachary Niedfeldt, Nautami Niedfeldt, and Zyrain Frizzell.
She is preceded in death by her father, four grandparents: Ted & Florence Nihart, and Albert & Vera Bluthardt; and a nephew; Luke Nihart.
Funeral Services for Connie will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, February, 26, 2016 at the Immanuel Faith Community Church-Wells Creek. Interment will follow at the Wells Creek Cemetery. Connie will lie in-state starting at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 25, 2016 with a visitation to follow from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Stewart Funeral Home of Wamego. The family has suggested memorials to the Immanuel Faith Community Church-Wells Creek or National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and may be left in care of Stewart Funeral Home, P.O.
