Misty Ann Krull

View Memorial Slideshow Misty Ann Krull, 52 of Wamego, KS passed away surrounded by her family and loved ones Sunday, April 10, 2016 at Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan, KS. On April 25, 1963, Misty was born to William and Marilyn (McGinnis) Kearney in Topeka, KS. She graduated from Shawnee Heights High School in 1981. Misty loved reading, playing cards, doing word finds and playing board games. She also enjoyed watching soap operas, game shows, laughing at a good comedy and attending family events. She was always a “cheerleader” for their daughter, Ashley. Misty was united in marriage with the love of her life, Roger Krull, on September 15, 1984 at the Berryton United Methodist Church in Berryton, KS. He survives of the home. Misty is also survived by her daughter: Ashley Krull, Wamego, KS; a brother: Shan Kearney, Topeka, KS; four aunts: Ida Mae Meagher, Maxine Welch, and Sherry VanDonge, all of Topeka, KS, and Sharon McLaughlin (Jerry), of Texas; and an uncle: Phil Goodman (Dorothy), of Indiana. She is preceded in death by her parents, step-father: Wendell Goodman; a brother: Marty Kearney; an aunt: Betty Dew; and an uncle: Charlie McGinnis. A Celebration of Life for Misty will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2016 at the Stewart Funeral Home 4370 Salzer Rd., Wamego, Kansas. Interment will follow at the Wamego City Cemetery, Visitation will be Thursday, April 14, 2016 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Stewart Funeral Home. The family has suggested memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association in honor of Misty Krull.
