Jose Flores Pasillas

Jose Flores Pasillas, 57, Wamego, KS passed away Friday, June 10, 2016 at his home. On March 24, 1959 Jose was born to Domingo and Ofelia (Flores) Pasillas in Tulare, California. He grew up in San Bernardino, California where he graduated from high school in 1977. He was united in marriage with Reva Masoner in San Bernardino on February 14, 1992. She survives of the home. Jose enjoyed fishing, spending time with his children, working on cars, and tending his garden. Jose is also survived by seven children: Adam, Desiree, Mingo (Saige), Michael, Corrina, Angel, and Ofelia Jo Gracie, all of the Wamego area; a step-daughter: Karen Pasillas, Topeka, KS; seven siblings: Tony, Johnny, Ralph, Julio, Erlinda, Gloria, and Hazel; and thirteen grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers: Domingo, Andy, and Joe. Funeral Service for Jose will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 18, 2016 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Wamego, KS. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorials to Jose Pasillas Memorial Fund, and may be left in care of Stewart Funeral Home, PO Box 48, Wamego, KS 66547.
