Victory Lee “Vicki” Anneberg Herbic Cole passed away Aug. 21, 2016 at the KC Hospice House. She was born Dec.19, 1942. She was preceded in death by parents, Frank and Nella Anneberg and a brother, F. John Anneberg Jr. Join us in celebration of Vicki’s life Aug.31, 11:30 a.m. at Countryside Christian Church 6101 Nall Mission, KS. Interment will be in spring. Vicki married Steve Cole Feb. 14, 1998. Steve widened Vicki’s horizons through precious love, kindness, humor and travels. Vicki loved to dance and met Steve at Kickers in Manhattan. Steve worked for the railroad and lived in Kansas City. When Steve transferred to El Paso, TX; Vicki retired and went with him. Before retirement, Vicki worked 30 years as KSU Alumni Records Director followed by 4 years in Human Relations. Vicki graduated from Manhattan High School in 1960. She helped find classmates and organize MHS 1960 Class Reunions. Vicki earned a Kansas State University Associate Degree in 1992. She attended Phillips University in Enid, Okla. 1961-1962. Vicki was a member of First Christian Church in Manhattan Ks for 50 years. She transferred her membership to Countryside Christian Church in Mission. Survivors include her beloved husband, Steve Cole of Mission, KS; sons, Galen Dean Herbic of San Antonio TX. and Mark Donald Herbic of Avondale, LA; sisters, Kathy Huntzinger Sexton of Manhattan, KS; Linda Anneberg Farley of Olathe, KS; 4 grandchildren, 6 nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 27, 2017 at the St. George Cemetery in St. George, KS. Memorial Donations may be left to Countryside Christian Church.
