Margaret "Dora" Linton

Margaret Dora Linton, 96, Wamego, KS died Sept. 25, 2016 at her home following an illness. She was a lifelong member of the community. Dora was born June 9, 1920 in Wamego, the daughter of Charles and Bertha Fischer. She graduated from Wamego High School. She was married for 66 years to Robert L. Linton, deceased. Dora worked for many years at Larson’s Clothing Store and later she and husband, Bob, owned and operated the Linton Motel until retirement. Dora is survived by her children, Janet DeBord (Jim) Wamego, Jerry Linton (Joan) Bloomington Ind. and Robert Eugene Linton (Ellen) Costa Rica. Four Grandchildren, Dawn DeBord, Robert DeBord (Janet), Laurel Linton Pappenhagen (Nate) and Tien Linton. Four Great grandchildren and one great great grandson. A Celebration of Life will be held for family and friends at a later date with a private family burial.
