Willie "Bud" Wege

Olsburg- Willie A. “Bud” Wege, 94, lifetime resident of Olsburg died Sunday September 20th, 2009 at Westmoreland Community Care Home. Born on February 13, 1915 at home in Olsburg he was the son of William and Rose (Curl) Wege. Bud was a farmer in the Olsburg Community his entire life. He loved quarter horses and work horses. He was a great pool player and enjoyed going dancing and was still dancing just four years ago. Bud is survived by: his sons Dale Wege and his wife Dixie of Hoyt, KS, and Deane Wege of Olsburg, KS; his daughter Nancy Trautwein of Manhattan, KS; his 3 grandsons, 3 granddaughters, 6 great grandsons, 6 great granddaughters and 2 great-great grandsons. He was preceded in death by his siblings, 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Cremation has been effected and no services will be held. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Willie “Bud” Wege memorial fund that will be designated later to a charity of the family’s choice.
