Virginia "Ginger" Anne Hartshorn, 51, of Westmoreland, Kansas passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, March 10 , 2010. Ginger was born July 24, 1958 in Gillette, Wyoming the daughter of Harold and Mary Elizabeth(Rankin) McCollum. She attended Osage grade school and graduated from Upton High School. She had been a resident of Westmoreland since 1998. Ginger was currently employed by Wal-Mart ofManhattan, where she worked as a cashier for the last two years. Ginger had a very happy and friendly personality with a sense of humor. She was a very dedicated and loving mom, and friend to many. She had always been a very hard worker, kind hearted, and giving person. Her survivors include her two sons: Kegan Rawhouser and Nikolas Rawhouser, both of Westmoreland, KS; nine brothers and sisters: Susan Shell, Robert Clyde, Russell Clyde, BarbaraPercifield, Vernon Clyde, Vicki Sutherland, Nancy Taylor, Wayne Clyde, and Jim Clyde; along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by bothparents. Cremation has been effected. A Celebration and Sharing of Life Service and visitation with the family will be held at Stewart Funeral Home of Wamego, Tuesday, March 16, 2010 beginning at 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Private graveside services will be held in Westmoreland City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Ginger Hartshorn Memorial Fund, which will be designated later. Memorials may be left in care of the Stewart Funeral Home of Wamego, P.O. Box 48, Wamego, KS 66547.
