Alvin Kahle

  Alvin Kahle, 89, Alma, KS passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at the Midland Hospice House in Topeka, KS.

  Alvin was born on April 6, 1929 to Henry and Hilda (Thowe) Kahle.  He was united in marriage with Leone Davison on July 18, 1961 in Auburn, Nebraska.  He worked at the Alma Cheese Plant for over 60 years.

  He is survived by his wife, a daughter, Nancy; a brother, Elmer (Mary); two sister in-laws, Joyce, and Marilyn (Tom); a brother in-law, Marvin (Unarose); and several nieces, nephews and friends.

  He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Harry; two half-brothers, Harley and Henry, Jr.; and an infant sister.

  Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Stewart Funeral Home in Alma, KS.  Burial will follow in the Peace UCC Cemetery in Alma, KS.  In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorials to Midland Hospice House and the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, and may be left in care of Stewart Funeral Home of Alma, PO Box 126, Alma, KS 66401.
