Michelle A. Tebbutt

Michelle A. Tebbutt, 44, of St. George, KS passed away Thursday, November 11, 2010 at Stormont-Vail HealthCare, in Topeka, KS, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Michelle was born in Chicago, Illinois and moved to Denver. Colorado while she was still a toddler. There she attended elementary school and graduated from Northglenn High School. Michelle moved to St. George, KS in 1989 where she married Lee Tebbutt of Manhattan, in Frankfort, KS on October 10, 1989. While living in the St. George community she also raised her two wonderful boys, Darin and Storm. Michelle was employed in the medical field for over 20 years working for several private practices in Topeka and Manhattan as well as for Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Kansas before starting her current position at Cotton O’Neil Medical Group in Topeka in 2003. Her hobbies included volleyball, camping, ATV riding, muzzleloading and enjoying any sporting events her children participated in. To her last day she was a diehard Broncos fan. Michelle is survived by her husband Lee Tebbutt of St. George; her two sons: Darin Tebbutt and Storm Tebbutt and his fiancé Cheyenne Hulbert, all of St. George; her mother, Carol Strack of Arizona and one sister Donna of Indiana. She also leaves behind her father & mother-in-law Wayne & Dora Tebbutt and four brother-in-laws: Scott Tebbutt, Kit Tebbutt, Jay Tebbutt and Jim Tebbutt and their families. She was preceded in death by her father Donald Strack. A celebration of Michelle’s life will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 15, 2010, at Stewart Funeral Home of Wamego, KS. Interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery, Frankfort, Kansas. Family will greet friends during a visitation on Sunday, November 14, 2010, from 3-5 p.m., at Stewart Funeral Home.
