Ronald Oliver Deweese

Manhattan- Ronald Oliver Deweese, 90, died Wednesday evening January 10, 2006 at Meadowlark Hills Retirement Community in Manhattan. Born on February 2, 1916, in Denver, Colorado, he was the son of William and Gertrude (Sappington) Deweese. Ronald proudly served his country in WWII as Staff Sergeant in the United States Army until his discharge in 1945. In 1969, he married Helen K., and from that marriage two children were born, Ron and Kathy. His survivors include: his wife, Helen of the home; his son, Ronald Deweese of Council Grove, KS; and his daughter Kathy Sinzheimer of Olathe, KS; Cremation has been effected and no services are planned.
