Helen W. Beerhalter

Helen W. Beerhalter, 83, of Wamego, passed away peacefully Tuesday evening March 6, 2007 at Wamego City Hospital with her family by her side. She was born November 25, 1923, in Wamego the daughter of Charles F. and Myrtle Rose (Hebrew) Beerhalter. She attended Wamego schools and graduated from Wamego High School, later becoming the secretary there for a number of years. Helen then obtained employment with the First National Bank of Wamego where she worked for 35 years. Helen is survived by: her niece, Carolyn Tatum and her husband Timothy of Manassas, VA; and her two nephews Charles Bradshaw of California, and Fred Bradshaw of Maryland. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Marjorie Bradshaw. Funeral Services will be Saturday March 10th at 10:00 a.m., at Stewart Funeral Home in Wamego with visitation one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow in Wamego Cemetery. Helen will lie in state on Friday March 9, from 1-5 p.m., with no visitation in the evening.
