Deena Kay Davis

Deena Kay Davis, 68, of Westmoreland, Kansas, formerly of Pratt, died Monday, September 13, 2021, at the Wellsprings Center in Westmoreland. Deena was born on June 24, 1953, in Pratt, Kansas, the daughter of Jerry and Jean (Schroeder) Davis. She attended grade schools in Pratt and graduated from Pratt High School in 1971. She then attended Pratt Community College studying Business Management. Deena was a homemaker, but also owned and operated her own cleaning business in Pratt. She was a loving and attentive mother and her family was the center of her activities. Deena suffered a stroke in her early 50’s that caused her health to decline and the need for her to have long-term care. She is survived by her mother, Jean Davis, of Pratt; her daughters, Chancie Greeno, of Wichita, and Danielle Davis, of Pratt. She is also survived by her brother, David Davis, of Durango, Colorado; and her grandchildren, Corbin Wehling, Hanna Shafer, Isaac Shafer, Collin Shafer, Ethan Shafer, and Sabastian Beach. Deena was preceded in death by her father. Funeral services will be private. The family suggests memorial contributions to The Hope Center in Pratt, KS.
