Donald Scott “Foot” Daily, 48, of Havensville, Kansas, died Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at his home.

Donnie was born on November 20, 1973, in Holton, Kansas, the son of Donald Herbert and Judith Ann (McNett) Daily.

Donnie was diagnosed with bone cancer at the age of 7 and endured numerous surgeries. Even with his considerable health issues, Donnie was known as jokester and was always making other people laugh. He loved to go fishing and was willing to teach anyone how to fix the “best bait” to catch fish with.

Donnie married Judith Watton on November 12, 1995. They divorced in 2000 but re-established their relationship in 2017 and remained companions until his death. She survives at their home.

Donnie is also survived by his sisters, Wendy Bradley (Tim Shalla), Fairbury, Nebraska, and Donna Oldridge, Gelnwood, Iowa; and five stepchildren and thirteen step-grandchildren; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and infant brother, nephew, Tad, and numerous aunts and uncles.

A celebration of Donnie’s life will be held at a later date. The family suggests memorial contributions to help pay for funeral expenses, and those may be sent in care of Campanella & Stewart Funeral Home, PO Box 48, Wamego, Kansas. Online condolences may be made at www.campanellastewart.com.
