Donna Ella (Stephenson) Mccallum

     Donna E. (Stephenson) McCallum, 87, passed away November 8, 2022 in Wamego, KS. She was born August
14, 1935 in Clements, KS to George and Gladys (Evans) Stephenson.
     Donna grew up on a farm in Clements, KS and graduated from Clements High School in 1953.
She attended Emporia State University and Cowley County Community College. She married
George Daniel McCallum and later divorced. Donna moved to Winfield, KS in 1969 and worked
at the Winfield State Hospital and the Winfield Correctional Facility. Retiring after 28 years with
the State of Kansas. Donna enjoyed watching sports, crocheting and reading.
     Donna is survived by four children: Randy McCallum, Overland Park, KS; Steven McCallum
(Vicky), St. George, KS; Suzann Smith (David), Winfield, KS; Tamra Dietrick, Silver Lake, KS: eight
grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters: Bernice
Grimmett, Eureka, KS; Linda Scott (Ronnie), Lamar, MO; and Lila Fanning (Danny), Joplin, MO.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Betty Walker and an infant brother
Gerald Stephenson.
     Graveside services will be held at the Clements Kansas Cemetery for family at a later date.
