Elizabeth Ann Breymeyer

August 20, 1994 — February 5, 2024

Elizabeth Ann Breymeyer, 29, of Wamego, Kansas, died peacefully Monday, February 5, 2024, surrounded by family, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Elizabeth was born August 20, 1994, in Onaga, KS, the daughter of John and Anita Burris Aubert.  She attended St. Marys Grade School and graduated in 2012 from St. Marys High School.  In 2014, she received her Associate Degree in Business from Highland Community College as well as graduating from Manhattan Area Technical College’s Lineman program.  She was the first female to graduate as a lineman from MATC in 42 years.

Elizabeth wanted a family and so lineman work didn't align with that dream, so she used her CDL and began work for Midwest Concrete Materials where she worked for several years, first as a concrete truck driver and then as a dump truck driver. Previously she worked for Kaw Valley Exterminators in the office and as a technician.

Elizabeth was kindhearted, loving, always smiling, and cared about the people around her. She was so proud of being a big sister and let everyone know it. Elizabeth loved everything outdoors.  She loved riding horses, motorcycles, ATVs, and off roading.  She was an excellent trap shooter and in high school won first place in the FFA clay shooting competition.  In the last few years she learned crocheting and even taught a local class with the Wamego Public Library. She made personalized unique blankets, shawls, and stuffed toys for gifts. In her youth she was involved with her church youth group and enjoyed the camaraderie and helping others. This devotion continued into her adult life as a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church.

Elizabeth married Joseph Breymeyer on June 4, 2016.  He survives at their home along with their sons, Emmett (5) and Dawson (2). Her family was her pride and joy. They enjoyed many activities together including camping, kayaking, walks with their dogs, and playing at the park. They dreamed of having a ranch in the country, where they could raise their family and numerous animals.

She is also survived by her parents, John & Anita Aubert (Emmett, KS), her siblings, Amanda & Tyler Glotzbach, and their daughter, Lily (Wamego, KS), Wyatt Aubert & Anna Downey and their daughter Aviana, and Rose Aubert (all of Emmett, KS); her mother and father-in law, Randy & Theresa Breymeyer, her brother and sister-in-law, Steven & Amanda Breymeyer, and their children, Avia, Case, and Mila (all of Wamego, KS).  As well as many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. She also considered her MCM coworkers as family.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jim & Henrietta Aubert and Melvin & Jolin Burris, her uncle, Charlie Aubert, aunt, Tracy Kirwan and other family members, too numerous to list.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, February 10, 2024, at St. Bernard Catholic Church.  Father Mike Peterson will be the Celebrant.  Burial will follow in St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery.  A rosary prayer service will be held, at the church, on Friday, at 6:00 pm and the family will greet friends until 8:00 pm.  They suggest memorial contributions to the Emmett and Dawson Breymeyer Education Fund, and those may be sent in care of Campanella and Stewart Funeral Home.  Online condolences may be made at www.campanellastewart.com.
