Elza "Big Otto" Tisdale

Elza “Big Otto” Tisdale, 58, of Wamego, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2017 at the Wamego Hospital.   Elza was born on May 13, 1958 in St. Joseph, Missouri to George and Bertha (Meade) Tisdale, Sr.  He enjoyed riding motorcycles, watching professional wrestling, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.  Elza ran Ott’s Painting for several years.   He is survived by three sons: Josh, Dominique, and Otto; four brothers: George Tisdale (Arlene), Jr. Manhattan, KS, Alfred Tisdale (Candy), St. George, KS, Jerry Tisdale (Betty), Onaga, KS, and Eddie Hall (Lydia), New Mexico; two sisters: Kay Park, Pennsylvania, and Irene Wyatt, Mississippi; eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.   He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Elmer, and a sister, Lillian.   A Celebration of life for Big Otto will be held at a later date and inurnment will be in the St. George Cemetery.  Memorials are suggested to the Elza Tisdale Memorial Fund which will be designated at a later date, and may be left in care of Stewart Funeral Home, PO Box 48, Wamego, KS 66547.
