View Memorial Slideshow Jeffrey Alan Niedfeldt, 36, Wamego, KS passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017 at his home. On December 12, 1980, Jeff was born to Ervin and Kathy (Burget) Niedfeldt in Topeka, KS. Jeff graduated from Wamego High School in 1999 and attended Topeka Technical College, receiving a certificate in Computer Repair. He worked several odd jobs before joining Caterpillar in Wamego in 2012 as a Warehouse Tech. Jeff was a member of the Wamego Pool League. He loved spending time with friends and family, as well as playing the guitar and going fishing. Jeff was also known for his artwork and drawings. He is survived by his parents, two sisters Kelli Vassilev (Galin), Lee’s Summit, Mo, and Heather Niedfeldt, Belvue, KS; one brother, Matthew Niedfeldt, Wamego, KS; a nephew, Jonathen Vassilev, Lee’s Summit, MO; a grandmother, Betty Woodard (Earl), Topeka, KS; both godparents, Virgil & Ann Selders, Topeka, KS; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and godchildren. He was preceded in death by three grandparents, Irma & Raymund Niedfeldt, and George L. Burget; and an aunt, Pam Rowe. Funeral Service for Jeff will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 23, 2017 at the Immanuel Faith Community Church Wells Creek near Belvue, KS. Jeff will lie in state on Thursday, June 22, 2017 from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m with visitation to follow from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Stewart Funeral Home of Wamego. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorials to Community Health Ministry, and may be left in care of Stewart Funeral Home, PO Box 48, Wamego, KS 66547.
