Kelvin “Kelly” C. Kuhlman passed away December 17, 2016 in Mesa, AZ.
Kelvin was born on February 20, 1946 to Carl and Lucille Kuhlman. He was baptized and confirmed at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Campbell, NE in 1964.
Kelly would follow his big brother, Ken, around the farm to learn about farming. He enjoyed custom combining. Most people would agree, Kelly, had a dry sense of humor, but was fun loving and enjoyed a good laugh. In December of 1966, he joned the U.S. Army in engineering and served two tours in Vietnam. He was a dedicated soldier. He cherished his Road Runner automobile and picku-up and kept them neat and clean. He helped manage the Shady Rest Campground in Green River, UT before moving to Nebraska and then to Arizona. He was an assistant manager in several retirement courts in Arizona and was the handy-man that could fix anything.
He was married to Rose Ann Ebert on December 1, 1975. He is survived by his mother, Lucille Kuhlman; siblings, Kenneth (Debra) Kuhlman, Carole Kuhlman, Corlee Pralle, all of Lincoln, NE; four nieces and nephews; six great-nieces and nephews; one great-great nephew; and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Kelly and Rose Ann will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Flush with a Rosary taking place beforehand at 10:30 a.m. Inunrment will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the St. Joseph Catholic Church, or the Wellsprings of Westmoreland Care Home, and may be left in care of Stewart Funeral Home, PO Box 48, Wamego, KS 66547.
