Lyle accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior in 1981 and has spent the majority of his adult life in ministry.  He worked as a staff member for Fair Grove Baptist Temple in Fair Grove, Missouri from 1996 until 1998, two years as Assistant-Pastor for New Life Baptist Church, in Wamego, two years as Assistant-Pastor at Calvary Baptist Church in Vidor, Texas, and two years as Assistant-Pastor at Current River Baptist Church in Doniphan, Missouri.  Lyle then served as Pastor of New Life Baptist in Wamego from 2003 until 2012.  He then was on the security team at Grace Baptist Church in Manhattan and for the past six years has served as Worship Leader at Trinity Baptist Church in Wamego.  Since 2013, he has also worked as a social media consultant.
