Mary Catherine Brunk

Mary Catherine Brunk, resident of Alma, KS passed away in her home on Monday, August 29^th, 2022, at the age of 76.

Mary is survived by her children; Steve Buero, Kenny Buero, Christine Yoakum, Mikey Buero, and Michelle Patwell; (12) Grandchildren, (5) Great Grandchildren. Mother-in-law, she was predeceased by her son Jeffrey Buero, late husband Michael Brunk, and Mother Mary Harsh.

Mary was born in Tubingen, Germany on November 15^th, 1945, she became a US citizen in 1957 residing in West Allis WI., where she was a waitress and bakery manager at Moyers bakery until 1976, then moving her family to California.   Mary enjoyed spending her time with her grandkids and gardening.  Mary and Mike moved to Alma, KS in 2011.  They enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching the sunrise and sunset on their porch. 

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
