She loved her grandkids and going to their activities, and had a special place in her heart for World Friendship and the multicultural friends she made through it. She enjoyed taking long walks in her neighborhood and on the Konza Prairie. She expressed her love for God’s creation through her flower gardening, watching and feeding birds, and caring for her cats. She had a love in her heart for the conservation of nature, and helped by being a good steward of this earth. She planted a native grass and wildflower prairie in her front and back yards.
