Sherry P. Sellers

Sherry P. Sellers, 72, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2023, at Well Springs of Westmoreland.

The staff of Well Springs and St. Croix Hospice helped her make the most of her final months with their friendly and compassionate care.

She was born July 15, 1952, the daughter of Frank and Pauline Zeilinger. They preceded her in death. Sherry resided most of her life in Topeka.

She is survived by her son, Todd (Shannon) Zeilinger and their three children of Silver Lake, KS; and a brother, Frank (Beth) Zeilinger, of Wamego, KS.

Sherry was amazing with stray cats. Each one had a name, and she made sure they were fed and cared for.

She lived her final months to the fullest of her abilities, soaking up as much sun and fresh air as possible. Sherry was a very quiet and reserved person until she felt comfortable. That’s when you would know how kind she was. She will be missed.

Sherry’s wishes were to be cremated. A private celebration of Sherry’s life will be held later. Please feel free to leave a message for the family in our condolences or register book section. Campanella and Stewart Funeral Home – Wamego, is assisting the family with services.
