Tammie Kay Mcdiffett

   Tammie McDiffett, 61, of Emporia, Kansas, passed away on Wednesday (September 7, 2022) at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka.

   Born April 21, 1961 in Council Grove, Kansas, Tammie was the daughter of Ralph W. and Cora (Hobbs) McDiffett.

   Tammie was a member of the First Christian Church in Emporia.  She was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan, enjoyed crocheting and knitting and loved being Aunt Tammie to her many nieces and nephews.

   Living with a disability throughout her life, Tammie still had a heart for helping others and had worked as an aid for various nursing homes.

   Survivors include two sisters, Ella Mae Kraus of Alma, KS and Joyce Massey (Gale) of Aurora, CO; two brothers, Donald L. McDiffett of Altus, OK and Roger McDiffett (Deb), of Coalmont, TN; and her many nieces and nephews.

   Tammie was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Dorris Whitman-Taylor.

   Cremation arrangements are in the care of Campanella & Stewart Funeral Home in Wamego.

   Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
